Nonprofit Multimedia Marketing Opportunity

Take your nonprofit’s marketing to the next level with a year-long multimedia campaign designed to amplify your mission, bring visibility to your cause, and build community support. We’ve partnered with local news outlets Suffolk News-Herald, The Tidewater News, The Smithfield Times, and Windsor Weekly to provide this opportunity, which offers $6,600 of advertising per nonprofit to include full-color ads across traditional print media and digital platforms, ensuring maximum visibility throughout Western Tidewater and surrounding areas. View the full range of advertising opportunities that will be available to you.

Much more than just an advertising opportunity, this program provides hands-on guidance, customized support, and training opportunities from a dedicated marketing consultant who will help you tell your story, craft compelling ads, and navigate both traditional and digital marketing strategies. Participants will gain insight into targeted digital marketing tools that connect your message with the right audience at the right time, and will take from the program a marketing schedule, branding guide, website review, and targeted email report. Eligibility Requirements:

  •  Capacity to engage in this year-long program with a time commitment of 5 hours per month from June 2025 to May 2026
  • Authority to approve your nonprofit’s ads
  • An annual operating budget under $1M
  • No existing contractual relationship with a marketing or communications consultant
  • Working within the Foundation’s service area

Training schedule

  • June 2nd from 10-11 a.m. – Marketing & Branding
  • June 11th at 2-3 p.m. – Targeted Digital
  • June 18th at 10-11 a.m. – Targeted Email
