Nonprofit Advocacy Day brings together nonprofit and philanthropic leaders, staff, board members, volunteers, and supporters from across Virginia for a day of learning, connection, and engagement with state policymakers. Participants will gain valuable insights into the legislative process, learn about key policy issues affecting the nonprofit sector, and have opportunities to engage directly with lawmakers and decision-makers.
The day concludes with an evening reception in a beautiful setting, featuring remarks from distinguished speakers, continued conversations with legislators and stakeholders, and opportunities to network with nonprofit and philanthropic peers from across the Commonwealth. Guests will enjoy food and beverages while building relationships and strengthening connections that support collective impact.
Together, we will amplify the voice of Virginia’s nonprofit sector and advocate for policies that strengthen our communities. Whether you are an experienced advocate or participating for the first time, your perspective and participation are important. By coming together, we can elevate the issues that matter most, strengthen the nonprofit sector, and advance positive change for the people and communities we serve.
