Sandra Fries

Sandra joined CNE in January 2026. As Engagement Manager, she is responsible for fostering meaningful connections with members and partners and supporting engagement initiatives across the organization. Prior to joining CNE, Sandra worked at The Colonnades, where she planned events and activities for residents. She also served as Events Manager at the Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA, planning third-party fundraising events and signature events. Earlier in her career, she worked at the Lynchburg Public Library.

Sandra hails from Northern Virginia and holds a degree in Communications from Lynchburg College as well as a Master of Arts in Nonprofit Leadership from the University of Lynchburg. In her free time, she enjoys reading, playing tennis, traveling, and spending time with her dogs and her family.
