Juan Rodriguez-Sanchez was born in Puebla State, Mexico and grew up mostly in Veracruz State. He graduated from Universidad Veracruzana with a degree in Chemical Engineering in 1999. Juan worked for Sabritas (Frito Lay) in Veracruz, Mexico from 2000 to 2003. In the same year, he moved to Brooklyn, NY before relocating to Charlottesville, VA in September 2003.
