Description
Easter Associates, Inc. is a full-service association management and government relations company with offices in Charlottesville and Richmond, Virginia. We are seeking a qualified individual to serve as a full-time Accountant (CPA) to support our non-profit trade association clients.
The Accountant serves under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer.
Experience:
• Active Virginia Certified Public Accountant license required
• QuickBooks experience is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, SharePoint
• Excel knowledge is required
• Database experience is preferred

Job Duties
• Provide financial services and operational support for multiple non-profit trade associations
• Bank deposits and reconciliations
• Membership management
• Accounts payable
• Prepare periodic financial statements
• Budgeting
• Regulatory and tax filings
• Reports and analyses
• Assist outside CPA firm with audit and tax work
• Present financials to association boards
Skills Required
• Manage multiple clients of varying industries and needs
• Exhibit excellent customer service skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Prioritize, multi-task, and maintain attention to details
• Proactive and independent, while collaborating well with others

• Lift 20 lbs
Work Schedule
The position is Hybrid, with offices in both Charlottesville and Richmond. Hours are 8:30-5, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend/overnight travel necessary.

• Possess a Virginia driver’s license
