Administrative Manager Job Description
Join us! Our small but mighty community foundation seeks a part-time Administrative Manager for our Warrenton office. The ideal candidate is efficient, detail-oriented, proficient in Word and skilled in Excel.
The Northern Piedmont Community Foundation’s mission statement is “Strengthening Our Communities Through Philanthropy” and our close-knit team prides itself in our support of Fauquier, Culpeper, Madison and Rappahannock counties.
Position is for 10-15 hours per week. Majority of work will be in the office with some remote opportunity.

Job Duties

Job Responsibilities Include:
• Provide administrative support of office operations.
• Answer phone calls and direct callers to appropriate personnel, schedules meetings, and assist clients and other
• Respond to emails and other digital queries and correspondence.
• Prepare meeting agendas and compose meeting minutes. Schedule and attend zoom when necessary.
• Coordinate logistics for meetings, including room setup and catering.
• Operate and maintain office equipment.
• Ensure that deadlines are met and adapt to changing priorities.

Skills Required

• Maintain physical and digital filing systems.
• Draft and edit letters, reports, and other documents as requested.
• Input and update information in databases and spreadsheets. Must be able to merge data and create pivot tables in
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments and tasks simultaneously.
• Work with sensitive information with discretion to maintain confidentiality and security and ensure compliance with
privacy policies and regulations.
• Have a basic understanding of accounting principles.

Work Schedule

Schedule is mostly flexible. Some availability for meetings is necessary
