Description
The Piedmont Workforce Network serves Local Workforce Investment Board VI, a region that includes Planning District 9 (Counties of Culpeper, Fauquier, Madison, Orange and Rappahannock) and Planning District 10 (City of Charlottesville and the Counties of Albemarle, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa and Nelson). The Central Virginia Partnership for Economic Development serves as the administrative and fiscal agent for the Piedmont Workforce Network. The President of the Partnership also serves as the Executive Director of the Piedmont Workforce Network.
The Operations Manager performs highly responsible and visible work in assisting the Executive Director in the administration of the Piedmont Workforce Network’s Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) services and program activities, including monitoring and oversight of all workforce programs; provides guidance on procedures, policies and regulations to staff, workgroups and Boards; and does related work as required.
