Our client, the Rappahannock Tribe in Saint Stephens Church, VA is expanding programs, adding employees and is seeking an experienced fractional HR Manager. The mission of the Tribe is to preserve Rappahannock culture, social structures, and political structures while educating the public on the rich contributions that Rappahannocks have made and continue to make to Virginia and the Nation.

As the HR Manager, you will manage all hiring, onboarding, benefits, employee development, performance management and training, employee relations among other functions. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in business, HR or related field; have a strong (8+ years) HR generalist background coupled with keen leadership skills. Professionalism, excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, reliability and dependability are required. Must have the desire and the ability to work in a team environment and a desire to continue the history and traditions of the Tribe. Most work will be done at the Tribal Center; must have the ability to work flexible hours for special programs as needed.
