Description
Charlottesville T’ai Chi Center (CTCC) is looking for a Managing Director. The ideal candidate will have organizational experience in a leadership role, with a nonprofit, as well as an interest in community health and/or martial arts. Responsibilities include oversight of the organization and its volunteer operations committees; working closely with CTCC’s Board of Directors, accountant, grant writer, and community partners; coordinating workshops; facilitating participation in community festivals and events; and reviewing and preparing materials such as invoices and reports, as required.

Work Schedule
– Most work can be done online.
– BOD meeting: every other month, meet in person or online
– Work with volunteer operation committees such as Marketing, Fundraising, Event, Scholarship, Committee: and Enrichment Chair every 3 – 4 months, meet in person or online
– Work with accountant and Treasurer as needed, online
– Work with grant writer twice a year, online or email

CTCC is a well-established local 501(c)(3) educational nonprofit organization that has served the greater Charlottesville area for over 20 years. Our mission is to teach and promote the art of Taiji Quan (T’ai Chi Chuan), along with related internal martial arts, following the Cheng Ming system as taught by Great Grandmaster Wang Shu Jin.
