Joyce is an HR professional with 10 years of specialized experience in recruitment, employee engagement, diversity training and leadership, and management coaching. Joyce received her Bachelors of Science in Psychology, Masters degree in Management/ Human Resource Management and is a Ph.D. candidate in the Organizational Leadership program at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology.

Joyce is the chapter President of the 100 Black Women of the Charlottesville Metropolitan Area Inc, where she serves the black women and girls of the Charlottesville Metropolitan area; in areas of health, education, and financial sustainability. In addition, Joyce serves as a community organizer and partner for the She Started it ESTEAM GIRLS Summit, an active member of Cville Society of Human Resources, advocate for STEAM education and volunteer for Loaves and Fishes  Food Pantry. She is also a graduate of CNE’s Board Academy.

Joyce is a Charlottesville native. A proud wife of a US Army veteran and wrangler of 6 active children ages 5-12.  In her spare time, she enjoys listening to podcast, cooking, and training for extreme races.
