The Workload Specialist utilizes workload management procedures and systems to plan and schedule long- and short-range maintenance activities, facilitate budget planning and administration, maintain backlogs, obtain materials and equipment, monitor service contracts, document transactions, and produce required reports. Reports to the Facilities Maintenance Division Manager.
The preferred hiring amount is between $20.14 to $29.11 an hour ($41,891.20 to $60,548.80 annually). Starting offer is based on applicable education, experience, and internal equity. Minimum Qualifications:
- Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma or GED.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in equipment and systems operations, maintenance, and repair. (Examples of relevant experience include but are not limited to database administration and management, generating and interpreting metrics and reports, scheduling maintenance repair activities, maintaining equipment inventory, and/or utilizing work order or other similar software systems)
Position may require employees to work a flexible schedule including evening and/or weekends. This position is subject to supporting weather and/or other emergency events and is subject to standby or on-call.
