Are you an experienced, strategic marketer interested in an exciting and challenging volunteer opportunity to help bring a beautiful public green space to Central Virginia? We seek a volunteer part-time Marketing Director to help create awareness about the Garden project through our existing communication channels and through new ones in the future. Chair the Garden’s Marketing Committee, create and implement marketing plans, manage media relations, etc.  The Committee meets monthly.

Job Duties

Create awareness about the Garden project through our existing communication channels and through new ones in the future. Chair the Garden’s Marketing Committee, create and implement marketing plans, manage media relations, etc. Meet with the committee monthly.

Skills Required

Knowledge of:

• integrated marketing strategies
• budgeting
• evaluation
• solid writing skills and
• a working knowledge about websites, social media, and email marketing are necessary.
