We are looking to hire a smart, strategic HR business partner for the organization. Immediate opportunity awaits a hands-on working leader in HR to develop and manage programs and practices within the organization as well as monitor the structure, process, people, and rewards needed to help associates find their purpose and reach their highest level of self-sufficiency.  This role will also contribute to sound strategic decisions about the influences of HR in the workplace, now and in the future.   • What thoughts, actions, and practices have you introduced that served to transform your current HR Department to a change agent for the organization and a trusted advisor and business partner to its management?
  • How have you helped define and imprint your current organization’s values, creating an organization that is more than the sum of its parts with a well-aligned company culture that serves to accelerate business agility, delivery, and outcomes?
  • What software, data, analytics, mobile tools, or other technologies have you explored to enable and empower your current HR Department?
  • How have you translated basic organization data and metrics (e.g. cost-per-hire, cost of turnover, etc.) into tangible measurement frameworks that provide meaningful decision-making tools for management?
The VP HR also assumes ownership of existing day-to-day operations, including, but not limited to:
  • HRIS, talent management, compensation and benefits administration, performance management, associate relations, etc.
  • Manage internal systems and an established internal HR team of seven professionals.
  • Understand risk management controls, have budget experience, and manage multiple locations.
  • Ensure compliance in all aspects of HR including safety, OSHA, CARF, Medicaid, and other regulatory bodies.
  • Foster the organization’s commitment to a culture of diversity and inclusion.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS/ABILITIES: The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate core competencies in the following areas:
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and operate strategically, to strengthen core programs, to inspire internal and external stakeholders to achieve desired results, and to effectively manage change in complex, mission-driven organizations.
  • Demonstrated success prioritizing and managing work requests, projects, and new initiatives for the HR department.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead milestone-driven projects and to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise ethical, prudent judgment and sophisticated business acumen.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective business partnerships throughout the organization in order to achieve goals and impact results.
  • Superb written and oral communication, including the ability to deliver impactful, dynamic presentations, to connect with diverse audiences, and to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents relating to human resources. Ability to respond to sensitive inquiries or complaints.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum 10 years related multi-discipline HR management experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance/Accounting, or related field required
  • PHR or SPHR certification preferred
  • Not-for-profit leadership experience helpful but not required
