Mountaintop Montessori, a private independent school, is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill assistant positions working with children between the ages of 3-12 years during our Spring Break Ecology Camps, SEED and Sprout. These camps take place during the week of April 2-6. This position is temporary, but we are also currently seeking applicants for our summer camps from June-August to fill similar positions should any applicants be interested in additional opportunities.

 

Position Hours:

11:30 AM-6:00 PM (Monday-Friday, April 2-6)

OR

1:00-6:00 PM (Monday-Friday, April 2-6)

Skills Required

Desired profile for this position is someone who has experience working with children, possesses strong classroom management skills, and has the ability to guide children through redirection and affirmative words. An open-mind, a sense of humor, and flexibility are also highly desired. Job duties include (but are not limited to) monitoring the playground and classroom activities to ensure safety, fixing and serving snack, facilitating the nap room, and keeping the classroom tidy.
