Teen Counselor

Teen Counselor – Full Time, 40 Hours per week

Responsible for the following job duties:

• Provide crisis intervention and counseling services to at-risk youth and their families.
• Provide services at the office as well as in schools, in the community, and/or through the 24-hour crisis hotline as needed.
• Assist in the performance of all related activities such as outreach to the community, representation of agency in the community, and program development.

Successful candidates will have:

• Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related area.
• Minimum two years experience working with youth and families.
• State license or license eligible in designated field.
• Knowledge of treatment needs of at-risk teens.
• Preference will be given to candidates with an interest in promoting mental health connections among low-income, LGBTQ+ youth, and BIPOC communities.

Compensation/Benefits:

• Salary: starting at $50,000, plus additional compensation for hotline
