Region Ten is recruiting for a State Opioid Response Grant Specialist to help with opioid treatment & recovery, and opioid prevention related administrative activities. This is a great position for a professional with community engagement and administrative expertise to help support opiod activities and funding along the continuum of care.

  1. Interacts with agencies, state and federal officials, clients and public as an official representative of Region Ten related to opioid prevention, treatment, and recovery services.
  2. Maintains accurate and timely documentation to meet all requirements of the Grant. Assists the Program Staff with all administrative work, purchasing, tracking grant requirements and activities, and supporting reports due.
  3. Works with DBHDS technical assistance to develop system to assure Government Performance and Results Act client data collection and report structure, that satisfies the government office and provides sufficient information for funding requirements.
  4. Familiarizes self with logic model and best practices that guide opioid prevention work.
  5. Helps coordinate interagency meetings with partners with the Community Mental Health and Wellness Coalition opioid stakeholder group. Build relationships with opioid stakeholders who are critical to regional prevention efforts and engages partners in activities in Region Ten’s opioid prevention, treatment, and recovery work.
  6. Develops opioid prevention and marketing / public awareness materials as needed. Coordinates dissemination of these into the community via social media, media, and targeted placement of print marketing materials.
  7. Manages overall program scheduling, including coordination and scheduling of REVIVE overdose reversal training.
  8. Provides administrative and planning support for opioid community education events.
  9. Develops method for tracking opioid prevention materials and coordinate data entry into formal grant reporting systems
  10. Other duties and special projects as assigned by the supervisor
