Description

Sprout Camp Assistant

Mountaintop Montessori, a private independent school, is currently seeking a qualified candidate to fill a seasonal, full-time position in our Sprout summer camp

About Our Sprout Camp:

Campers (age 3 – risking K) spend their days at our lush 10-acre campus, visiting the garden, observing the natural wonders of the world, and making new friends. Campers see the vivid colors of produce ripening in the garden that they help to grow themselves, discover new tastes and fragrances while picking and preparing fresh fruits and veggies, and listen carefully for the sounds of the birds and insects. They also discover the joy of dirty hands and get to know animal habitats. We keep it simple and make big discoveries in the wide world. Campers will explore topics in zoology, botany, art, and geography. Staff members offer the gentle guidance that comes from years of experience being with children in the outdoors.

About the Position:

Camp is held Monday-Friday, June 11- August 10 (*no camp on July 4th). This position would arrive at 7:45 AM and complete the day at 3:45 PM. The selected candidate is expected to commit to the full summer season, including the following training dates: May 31st and June 2nd.
