Description
A software development position with a 63 year old, pioneer, international missions organization in Charlottesville, Va. Help us update our IT applications infrastructure to reach the nations for Christ!

Skills Required
The position requires the following Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Subject Matter Expert on a wide range of information technology.
- Demonstrated experience with MS .net environment including asp.net web forms
- Demonstrated experience with SQL Server
- Visual Basic experience preferred; C# experience acceptable
- User interface design experience
- Experience in an Agile project development environment a plus
- CSS experience a plus
- Excellent project management skills, with ability to create, implement, administer and monitor system installations and integration. Strong organizational and time management skills (manage high volume tasks, adapt to changing priorities, take initiative and follow through to meet deadlines).
- Communication proficiency: oral, written, and presentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, cultural awareness, ability to establish and maintain effective professional relationships.
Software Expertise: Microsoft Windows, Windows Server technologies, Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft Office Suite, TCP/IP, PC and networking hardware.
Work Schedule
40 hours / week
Flexible schedule, but typically 8:30 – 5:00

Level of Education:
BA/BS degree in computer science or equivalent on-the-job experience
Level of Experience:
3 – 5 years of progressive software development experience
