Description

The World Peace Game Foundation (https://worldpeacegame.org/) spreads the World Peace Game to educators and children worldwide. The Foundation is led by John Hunter, executive director, founder, and creator of the World Peace Game, and provides master classes for educators and camps for children in the United States and around the world.  The World Peace Game Foundation seeks a part-time (15-20 hours/week) Program Director to work closely with the executive director to engage and plan 5-8 WPG master classes and camps and 5-8 speaking engagements annually. Job Duties

Duties include identifying potential World Peace Game  and Master Class sites; negotiating agreements with hosts; completing grant applications and reporting; coordinating travel, marketing and promotion, and attendee registrations and scholarships; hiring on-site game support; and other details. The Program Director will work closely with the executive director and board of directors to develop an overall strategic plan, calendar, and budget. In addition the Program Director will develop provide financial support (draft budget, reconcile bank accounts, manage insurance needs), develop the annual fundraising solicitation, file state and local registration forms, liaison with outsourced vendors (payroll, accounting, website and social media), and staff board of directors activities.

Skills Required

Preferred; education background, three or more years in program development or non-profit administration, social media familiarity, internet communication; email, Skype, Whatapp, Zoom, Facetime, etc.

Interpersonal skills / formal writing and large and small group management

Ability to work with children, educators and parents

Ability to interface with Governmental Agencies under direction of the Foundation

Reconciling bank accounts

Strategic planning with team

Fundraising solicitation

Coordinating travel, marketing and promotion, and attendee registrations and scholarships administration

Work Schedule

Weekly 15-20 weekdays, selected times between 9am-5pm.
