Description

SEED Camp Assistant

Mountaintop Montessori, a private independent school, is currently seeking a qualified candidate to fill a seasonal, full-time position in our SEED summer camp.

About Our SEED Camp:

Campers (rising 1st-6th grade) spend their days at our lush 10-acre campus or on field trips to local watering holes, farms, and wooded areas, so campers can get up close and personal with local soil, streams, fields, and forests. Campers enjoy some sunshine while working in our gardens to grow fresh fruits and veggies, and then learn how to cook their harvested crops in our professional kitchen. With crafts, outdoor games, and an entire ecology classroom to explore, every day offers a new adventure! Campers learn about chicken care with our on-site feathered friends, how to investigate signs left by garden critters, the different properties of plants, and where to find the best wading spots!

About the Position:

Camp is held Monday-Friday, June 11- August 10 (*no camp on July 4th). This position would arrive at 7:30 AM and complete the day at 3:30 PM. The selected candidate is expected to commit to the full summer season, including the following training dates: May 31st and June 2nd.

Pay: $12.00/hr
