Description
C3 is seeking a highly motivated Program Manager to drive the execution of C3’s residential programs, beginning with the Home Energy Challenge.
Job Duties
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the implementation, tracking, and measurement of C3’s residential programs, including the Home Energy Challenge (HEC).
- Plan, coordinate, execute, and attend events for C3 programs.
- Act as the “face” of C3 and its residential programs.
- Work with the Director of Programs and Communication on marketing strategy for the campaign with the aim of acquiring and retaining residential participants.
- Lead and manage volunteer students and interns to support programs.
- Work within a budget.
- Development strategies to engage individuals and teams of participants to take action.
- Coordinate with and provide support to C3 climate partners and other stakeholders for residential program.
- Collect and use data to inform new campaigns and the evaluation of existing campaigns.
- Assist with generation of social media content.
- Assist Founder and Director of Programs and Communications in overall program strategy.
- Assist Director of Programs and Communications in the oversight of external marketing support agencies.

Interpersonal: The position requires strong interpersonal skills and be able to work with a broad diversity of people. The program manager will build relationships with community members, stakeholder agencies, local governmental officials, businesses/corporations, and third parties.
Communication: The program manager must have excellent writing and public speaking skills.
Management: The program manager must be able to lead, manage, and motivate a team of volunteers and third-party partners.
Project Management: The program manager must track and monitor the progress of the HEC campaign and intervene when necessary.
Work Schedule
Normal business hours during the week. Some weeknight and weekend times.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelors Degree, preferably in a field such as marketing or communications.
- 2-5 yrs. of experience executing community-based campaigns, nonprofit programs, or project management experience.
Preferred:
- Experience in Squarespace, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Working knowledge of community-based social marketing and/or social behavior change strategies.
- Experience with video software tools.
