OVERVIEW:

Restoration Village Arts is a Christian organization that collaborates with artists, communities and organizations to produce music, liturgy and advocacy resources in support of peace, love and justice work.  The PT Program Director will work closely with the Director, current and potential ministry partners, supporters and the Board of Directors to ensure programmatic success. S/he will be an effective and creative communicator and able to successfully implement and administrate all RVA programs.

This position is offered at 12 hrs/week

RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to):

Oversee and Develop Programs

  • Provides strategic leadership and administration for projects, creating timelines, budgets and work plans in coordination with the Director.
  • Develops and implements marketing and external communications to address goals including social media, newsletters, publicity and articles.
  • Effectively shares the vision and goals of RVA and grows a strong grassroots base of fans, faith activists and donors.

Organizational Development

  • Researches and applies for relevant grants to support projects and initiatives.
  • Works with the director to develop a sustainable business model around RVA produced publications including but not limited to music and books.
  • Plans yearly gatherings of the staff, Board of Directors and Advisory Board.

Skills Required

PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Passionate commitment to creative, faith based peacemaking and the ability to articulate historical and theological contexts when engaging injustice.
  • Proven leadership, creative, organizational, and analytical skills, which promote innovation, collaboration, program development and management.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication, as well as, strategic planning and grassroots organizing skills.
  • Advanced education and/or experience in Christian peacemaking, movements of faith and justice, ministry, theology, interfaith work, cross cultural work, and nonprofit work required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft programs, and social media platforms.
  • Artistic vision with experience in amateur photography and Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
  • Spoken and written proficiency in Spanish preferred.
