Our Soapbox Engage platform is used by non-profits and socially responsible businesses to easily manage their online marketing, including fundraising, event management, and advocacy while integrating with Salesforce and the Nonprofit Success Pack. We are seeking a Professional Services Manager to deliver the high-quality service our non-profit, association, and public sector clients expect. We’re specifically looking for fun individuals from our non-profit sector with experience in the Web development process and non-profit use of Salesforce.com. Fundraising professionals looking to take the next step in their careers are a particularly good fit.
Job Duties
This position will be on our professional services team, working with organizations that want hands-on assistance in deploying our products for their needs. The right person for this position will have experience applying software tools to specific project needs, including a background in leveraging Salesforce.com for data management.
Skills Required
Although the position does not require a Web programming background, a understanding HTML and web design is definitely helpful. You should have a Bachelor’s degree, great references, excellent communication skills, and an ability to keep multiple projects on time and on budget. Background working at a non-profit organization in a technology capacity is a big plus. Experience working at consulting shop is also pretty groovy, too.
After all the hard work, you’ll need to be willing to have fun and enjoy a small team work environment. The right applicant will not only have the basic tech qualifications, but will truly enjoy working for the non-profit sector. You’ve got to have heart. You’ve got to be passionate about public service and the social sector. Enjoying the sight of three-foot tall penguins in the office is also a bonus.
Additional Info
Preference for Washington, D.C. based applicants to work in-house at our Dupont Circle office. Exceptions can be made for the right candidate.
