• Range $35 – $45 hour

Our client, the Rappahannock Tribe in Saint Stephens Church, VA is seeking a fractional Program Manager to build, expand and develop additional programs. The mission of the Tribe is to preserve Rappahannock culture, social structures, and political structures while educating the public on the rich contributions that Rappahannocks have made and continue to make to Virginia and the Nation.

As the part time Program Operations Manager, you will be the sole coordinator of all program teams to include housing, economic development, conservation and others. Oversight of current and new programs to include vendor bid efforts, request for proposals, grant review and accountability, managing scope of work and sub-projects in progress for the Tribe.

The successful candidate will have 4+ years previous experience in program management, non-profit organizations, economic development or related experience. Bachelor’s degree in administration, business or related field a plus. Must have strong problem-solving skills; critical thinking ability and be comfortable in public speaking situations. Professionalism, excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, reliability and dependability are required. Must have the desire and the ability to work in a team environment.
