Overnight Shelter Supervisors: 10-hour shifts from 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
Intake Coordinators: 4.5-hour shifts from 5:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Job Duties
Intake Coordinators: 4.5-hour shifts from 5:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Intake Coordinators are responsible for the nightly sign-in of all shelter guests. Your responsibilities include
1) welcoming guests, 2) conducting intake interviews, 3) accompanying guests to shelter sites, and 4) coordinating with Overnight Shelter Supervisors. Intake Coordinators work under the supervision of a Shelter Director and in close cooperation with PACEM guests, and other PACEM staff.
Reliable transportation to rotating shelter sites is required.
We pay a living wage of $15.00 per hour. Two-three shifts per week available.
Overnight Shelter Supervisors: 10-hour shifts from 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
Overnight Shelter Supervisors are responsible for overseeing PACEM’s guests during the night. Your responsibilities include 1) ensuring the safety of our guests, 2) ensuring the security of the shelter site, and 3) working with congregational volunteers. Overnight Supervisors are responsible for being awake, creating a peaceful environment, and handling any problems which arise during the night. Overnight Supervisors work under the supervision of a Shelter Director and in close cooperation with guests and other PACEM staff members.
Reliable transportation to rotating shelter sites is required.
We pay a living wage of $15.00 per hour. One to three shifts per week.
Skills Required
Compassion, empathy and a genuine desire to help others. A self starter with the ability to self manage in stressful situations.
