Description

The Operations Manager is responsible for the smooth running of Three Notch’d Road, Inc.’s ongoing administration and concert operations. There are three main areas of focus: marketing/publicity, concert events & logistics, and administration. It is estimated that these duties average out to 12-15 hrs a week. Some weeks of the season are slower (mid-summer) and some extremely busy (concert week during the subscription concert season).

Named for a colonial route through central Virginia, Three Notch’d Road is the area’s only professional ensemble that performs a full season of early music on period instruments. Our musicianship is founded on a vigorous historical approach, offering little-known music of the baroque as well as incisive performances of well-known favorites. In addition to our subscription series, Three Notch’d Road musicians perform in schools throughout central Virginia.

Skills Required

Communications and customer service; public relations; event planning & logistics; simple website maintenance and electronic email distribution. Graphic design and musical background desired but not required.
