Description

Marketing Intern (Summer 2019 – part-time, unpaid)

Join a community of young people and adults who create, invent and explore together using the latest in technology.

We address educational and occupational disparities in our community by supporting diverse youth from low-income households with the knowledge, skills, and experiences to have choice in their individual pursuits.

We are an out-of-school time STEM makerspace in the heart of Charlottesville, within walking distance of Friendship Court, South 1st Street, 6th Street, and on the school bus route for Charlottesville City Schools.

Every day, C4K’s Clubhouse makerspace and Mentor Studio are filled with youth-driven projects — including audio recording, robotics, coding, and 3D printing — all STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math)-centric, engaging, and grounded in project-based learning (PBL).
