Description
JABA is seeking an energetic, compassionate, organized leader to manage our Shining Star Preschool program located in Albemarle County. Shining Star is a Virginia Star Quality preschool with 32 kids ages 2-5 in an intergenerational setting. The Manager will be responsible for the day to day operations of the preschool including recruitment of applications, development and implementation of curriculum, hire, train, and evaluation staff, maintain records and ensure compliance with all relevant licensing and oversight agencies.
Skills Required
The successful candidate will meet the General Qualifications and Program Director qualifications as listed in the Standards for Licensed Child Day Centers published by the Department of Social Services of the Commonwealth of Virginia as noted in 22 VAC 40-185-180 and 22 VAC 40-185-190. Bachelor’s Degree required with 3-5 years’ preschool experience and intergenerational programming preferred.
