Description

JABA is seeking an IT Technician whose primary responsibility is desktop and peripheral support. Duties include, but are not limited to, installing printers, hardware and software in a networked environment, working trouble tickets and assisting users. Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Windows10 is required.  The candidate needs to be able to answer telephones and perform light work that includes operating computer and office equipment for extended periods of time as well as occasional strenuous activity like reaching or bending and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Must have demonstrated experience installing and maintaining networked desktop equipment and peripherals.  Need to possess excellent people & communication skills; strong commitment to documentation, be able to multitask, and be a self-starter. Familiarity with network hardware preferred including MS Server OS’s and Microsoft Active Directory a plus.

This is part-time, expected to average 20 – 25 hours per week position, predominantly Monday-Friday.  Ideal position for part-time student or recently retired IT professional; some potential to evolve into a full-time position with broader responsibilities

Skills Required

Must possess a degree from an accredited high school, or a two-year degree combined with equivalent work experience in information technology.  Pay is based on experience
