Job Duties

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will work collaboratively with the senior leadership team as the principal advisor on human resources issues and team building. The HRBP will develop and lead organization-wide initiatives to enhance RAL’s ability to attract, build and retain a high-performing team and foster a welcoming, diverse, committed, ambitious, and effective workplace culture. This position is also in charge of recruitment, onboarding, benefits, payroll events, risk management, facilitating employee relations, and handling employee situations with a focus on conflict resolution. Supportive of performance management initiatives, training and professional development and strategic participation with the senior leadership team. There will be special projects and a focus on ensuring communication strategies are continually a priority.

Skills Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or Industrial Relations.
• A minimum of seven years’ experience in Human Resources management.
• Passion for RAL’s mission and commitment to our vision and goals.
• Demonstrated success in recruiting and building a strong team.
• High level of professionalism and discretion and proven ability to gain trust and respect at all levels of an organization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and superior organization, prioritization, and self-motivation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous payroll/detail-oriented administrative experience helpful.
• Experience working with outside vendors, brokers, insurance carriers
• SHRM certification preferred.
