Description

Piedmont Housing Alliance is seeking a Housing Counselor and Loan Program Administrator to join our award-winning team. Piedmont Housing Alliance is a successful and innovative non-profit organization with a mission to create affordable housing opportunities and foster community through education, lending, and equitable development.

Our Housing Counselor and Loan Program Administrator works one-on-one with clients to help them achieve their goals for housing stability and financial opportunity with money management, credit, rental, home ownership, and foreclosure counseling. This position also offers financial education and homebuyer education classes. As a loan program administrator, this position provides our down payment assistance loan funds to eligible homebuyers. The ideal candidate has an understanding of personal finance, rental and home purchase processes, and mortgage financing. HUD certification, experience or training in housing counseling is preferred. Must have strong interpersonal, presentation, and technology skills. Bachelors’ degree and minimum of two years of related experience, or similar combination of education and experience.
