Description
Monticello seeks candidates for our Guest Services Department to welcome, assist, and inspire our visitors. Successful candidates will have enthusiasm for working with people, experience with customer service, excellent guest-focused service skills, and be prepared to work out-of-doors in all weather conditions. A friendly smile, interest in history, and strong verbal communication skills are essential. Candidates should be proficient in the use of computers and email and have a willingness to learn new technology. Constant standing and minimal walking required. Some lifting of items up to 40 lbs. is necessary and job requires extended periods of time speaking with guests, sometimes in groups over ambient noise. Must be available to work a minimum of two days per week, including at least two weekend days per month. Must be available to work after-hours events, weekends, and holidays. These positions are temporary and will run through October 31, 2018. Students are welcome to apply. Weekend work is sufficient after school year resumes.
