Description

Grants and Relationships Manager – Full Time, 40 Hours per week

Responsible for the following job duties:

  • The Philanthropy team serves to advance the mission of the agency using a myriad of strategies and activities.
  • As a critical member of the Philanthropy team, works closely with the Director of Philanthropy and the Lead Communication Specialist to design and implement a comprehensive fundraising and outreach plan.
  • Works in collaboration with the Executive Director, Deputy Executive Director, and Director of Finance and Operations to coordinate fundraising efforts and grant submissions.

Successful candidates will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Minimum of two years experience and fundraising/nonprofit sector preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to express and transmit ideas in a clear and organized manner, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to analyze grant proposal requirements to cull critical components and effectively and comprehensively address those critical components in completing the grant.
  • Possess strong people skills, be able to work independently with minimal supervision, exercise sound judgment in completing tasks of the position and enjoy a varied work schedule and job tasks.
  • Ability to represent the organization in public and individual settings.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within and outside the agency in a professional manner.
  • Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office and experience with fundraising CRM suites (ex. Keela).
