This finance specialist position will be primarily responsible for purchasing. Duties include, but are not limited to, buying supplies, assisting staff with orders, comparing prices; locate suppliers, vendor relations, receive product, verify pricing on order, authorize and code for payment, distribute supplies, travel to local vendors, maintain copiers, maintain & track contracts. All staff in this finance office are cross-trained to be able to assist with other areas.  This position will be responsible to assist with monthly operations and general ledger work.


Must have good working experience with computers, Word and Excel.  Need to possess excellent people & communication skills; strong organizational skills, good decision making ability, be able to multitask and be a self-starter. Familiarity with accounting concepts and bookkeeping principles preferred.


Skills Required

Need to be able to answer telephones and perform light work that includes operating computer and office equipment for extended periods of time as well as occasional strenuous activity like reaching or bending.  Must possess a degree from an accredited high school, or a two-year degree combined with equivalent work experience in accounting.

Work Schedule

This is a 37.5 hour a week position, Monday-Friday. Pay is based on experience.
