Finance and Compliance Specialist

The University of Virginia Alumni Association is looking for a Finance and Compliance Specialist for our new Gift Processing Center. This specialist will be responsible for researching, planning, documenting, and executing the operational activities of a compliance program for the U.Va. Gift Processing Services Center (GPS). The Specialist also evaluates GPS banking and treasury operations and ensures efficient and effective cash flow of gifts between the GPS and its customers. Qualified candidate will have a bachelor’s degree: finance, accounting field preferred; required minimum of 4 years’ work experience in a role supporting fundraising such as Advancement Services, Donor Services, Gift Processing Records or Finance, Higher Education; experience with cash management and treasury functions in a business setting; and strong understanding of accounting systems and internal controls.
