Description

Culpeper Housing and Shelter Services, a small nonprofit corporation located in Culpeper, Virginia, is seeking applications from qualified candidates for the position of Executive Director. CHASS is a community leader in the provision of homeless services and housing programs for low-income and at-risk populations in the Culpeper region. The Executive Director is a high visibility position responsible for the organization’s achievement of its mission and financial goals, as well as day-to-day fiscal and operational management.

The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion to serve vulnerable populations and experience facilitating a healthy culture with staff, Board, community, and stakeholders.

Skills Required

College degree; nonprofit management experience; demonstrated fundraising and development success; experience in grant writing and report writing; and knowledge of affordable housing development/management, or the willingness and ability to learn.
