Description
An Education Manager is needed for our Head Start Program. This position supervises all teaching staff which includes Teachers and Teacher Assistants in eleven classrooms located in Madison, Greene, Rappahannock, Warren, Page and Woodstock. Responsible for providing orientation training and on-going staff development. The successful candidate will administer the curriculum and conduct classroom visits to observe teaching strategies. The manager will provide educational resources to staff, model developmentally appropriate classroom management techniques and monitor child outcomes and staff performance.

Skills Required
Must have significant experience working with preschool children and a strong foundation in education. Supervisory experience and strong computer skills with the capacity for daily travel and communication with multiple classroom sites. A bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Development or a closely related field in required.
