Early Education Specialist

Early Education Specialist – Full Time, 32 Hours per week

Responsible for the following job duties:

• Work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Lead community-based play groups focusing on early education and parenting support for children 0-5 years old and their families.
• Complete developmental screenings and weekly observations.
• Share information and resources related to parenting/caregiving, and school readiness via playgroups and family visits outside of scheduled play groups.
• Participate in program outreach activities.

Successful candidates will have:

• Experience working with children and or families or a degree in a Human Services field with experience working with children and or families.
• Current and valid driver’s license required.
• Available Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Training will be provided. Initial and ongoing training throughout employment is provided to all ReadySteps program staff.

Compensation/Benefits:

• Salary: starting at $33,216
