Who we are:
The Vermont Releaf Collective (Releaf or the Collective) is a network by and for Black, Indigenous, & People of Color (BIPOC) advancing racial equity in land, environment, agriculture, & foodways. Our mission is cultivating connection, sharing resources, and uplifting the voices of people of color in Vermont within our focus areas of Land, Environment, Agriculture, and Foodways.

About the role:
The Director of Operations will manage Releaf’s day-to-day financial operations, including payroll, bookkeeping, budgets, and grant reporting. They will also work collaboratively with the organization’s staff and board on projects related to fundraising, budget planning, and hiring. The Director of Operations will also be integral to welcoming new staff members to our organization, managing onboarding systems, and co-building a healthy HR culture. They will have a direct role communicating new financial developments to the board and updating organizational systems while adapting to community building needs.
