Description

The Thomas Jefferson Foundation, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for an innovative professional to lead our IT department. This position is responsible for strategic technology planning, direction of the IT staff, project, vendor, and budget management, security risk mitigation and data protection, and technical oversight of the Foundation’s voice and data networks and business and scholarly systems. Candidates must have advanced IT industry knowledge, demonstrated experience managing complex projects, experience managing and mentoring technical staff, cyber security knowledge and experience, and excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills. The successful candidate for this position will be an imaginative IT leader, an outstanding collaborative manager, and an excellent communicator with a proven record of leadership in IT within environments of comparable complexity. Ten or more years of IT experience with at least 5 years of management responsibility in a multi-office environment and bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems or related field are required; graduate degree preferred. Experience working with non-profit a plus. Some nights and weekends may be required for on call duties, scheduled network outages, troubleshooting and installations.
