Director of Development

Description

Development Director Charlottesville Catholic School in Charlottesville, Virginia, is seeking a Development Director for the 2018-2019 school year. The right candidate will be a highly competent networker and passionate storyteller. As importantly, the candidate should have development experience specific to an educational (school) environment. Under the direct supervision of the school principal, the Director of Development is responsible for:

• Developing and implementing a comprehensive annual giving program
• Increasing the amount and quantity of significant gifts from both individuals and private foundations
• Revitalizing the CCS endowment campaign
• Developing and implementing a comprehensive planned giving program
• Engaging the CCS grandparent community, both qualitatively and financially
• Implementing and managing effective fundraising activities
• Expanding CCS’s visibility among purposefully targeted donor circles
• Prepare reports for the School Advisory Board as needed
