Description

The Office of Advancement in the School of Engineering seeks a Data Analyst for Reporting and Gift Administration to oversee report development, data analysis, and gift administration.

This role will report to the Director of Annual Giving and Strategic Initiatives and support our growing, highly-integrated, and collaborative advancement team in working hard to pursue ambitious fundraising goals leading into the University’s multi-billion-dollar Third Century Campaign.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in this endeavor by coordinating the data analysis for successful fundraising strategies and coordinating with the Central Advancement Business Intelligence group on reporting and data visualization. The Data Analyst for Reporting and Gift Administration is also responsible for ensuring proper gift designations, reporting of endowed and current use funds, working with internal entities to accurately establish new funds, maintaining donor records, and performing other broad-based administrative support responsibilities as needed.

The incumbent will have at least three years of relevant experience as well as proven ability to research and analyze financial information. The successful candidate will demonstrate skill and ability in report development and programming, the ability to convey concepts clearly using appropriate data reporting and visualization techniques, advanced knowledge of data modeling and ranking tools, proficiency in computer applications, working knowledge of various database and software programs, and a proven ability to manage detailed and accurate reports.

They will be able to focus on client needs, to work both independently and with a team, and to demonstrate high degrees of written and oral communication, personal initiative, time management, attention to detail, problem solving, accountability for product and outcome, and the ability to meet deadlines.
