Counselor –Teen Counseling and Inside Out Programs– Full time, 40 Hours per week

Responsible for the following job duties:

• The Counselor is responsible for providing clinical assessment and intensive, specialized mental health treatment to child and adolescent victims of abuse and neglect and exposure to domestic violence.
• The Counselor will provide counseling to family members of victims, as needed, to enhance the effectiveness of the treatment of the child/adolescent victim.
• The Counselor also provides crisis intervention and counseling services to at-risk teens and their families at the office as well as in schools, in the community, and/or through the 24 hour crisis hotline as needed.

Skills Required

Successful candidates will have:

• Masters Degree in counseling, social work, or related field.
• State licensure or license-eligible in designated field required.
• Minimum of 2 years experience working with children, adolescents and families.
• Knowledge of treatment needs of abused and neglected children.
• Preference will be given to candidates with an interest in promoting mental health connections among low-income, LGBTQ+ youth, and BIPOC communities.
