Counseling Program and Clinical Supervisor – Fulltime, 40 Hours per week

Responsible for the following job duties:

• The Counseling Program and Clinical Supervisor (Supervisor) is responsible for training and supervision of designated counselors and graduate level interns.
• The Supervisor will provide clinical assessment and intensive, specialized mental health treatment to child and adolescent victims of abuse and neglect and exposure to domestic violence.
• The Supervisor will also provide counseling to family members of victims, as needed, to enhance the effectiveness of the treatment of the child/adolescent victim.
• The Supervisor will also provide some crisis intervention and counseling services to runaway, homeless, missing, and at-risk youth and their families
• Crisis intervention services may be provided in homes, schools and/or in the community.

Successful candidates will have:

• Masters Degree in counseling, social work, or related field.
• State licensure in designated field.
• Minimum of 3 years direct clinical practice, including one year of administrative and/or supervisory responsibility.
• Demonstrates strong leadership skills and desire to take initiative
• Knowledge of treatment needs of abused and neglected children.
• Knowledge of theory and practice in the area of adolescent development and age-appropriate intervention strategies.
• Ability to provide direct service with a minimum of supervision.
• Ability to organize time effectively and to meet assigned work demands.
• Current and valid driver’s license and maintain at all times a motor vehicle insurance policy that carries at least the minimum limits of liability of $300,000 combined single limit or $100/300/100 split limits ($100,000 per occurrence, $300,000 per accident for bodily injury, $100,000 per accident for property damage)

Compensation/Benefits:
