Description
We are currently hiring a part-time (20-hours per week) consultant to support grants administration in close collaboration with three other CIMA consultants. This position will play an integral role in ensuring cohesive, efficient, and productive client engagement.
Depending on experience and qualifications, candidates may be hired at an Associate or Consultant level. This position is part-time with potential for transition to full-time pending client needs and fit at CIMA.
Job Duties
Responsibilities include:
Continually update the team’s standard proposal supplemental materials and language library to ensure content is up-to-date and easily accessible
Contribute to team meetings by setting agendas, taking notes, and ensuring timely reporting-out
Manage the team’s shared deadlines calendars to ensure that all funder deliverables and other tasks are completed and submitted in a timely manner
Support the team in grant submission and reporting including navigating grant submission portals, preparing budgets and financial reports, compiling supplemental materials, and formatting and uploading materials in accordance to the guidelines of funders
Support the team with research (including prospecting), writing, and proofreading as needed
Support the team’s coordination of quarterly and special reports
Skills Required
The ideal candidate will have:
Proven success in a development/grant coordinator or management role, and/or a track record of performing a wide variety of administrative, research, and financial tasks in a collaborative environment
Proven ability to independently collect, manage, and interpret information from multiple sources
Experience working in a remote environment and using standard office software/platforms (Excel, Drive, Airtable, etc)
A demonstrated appreciation for or commitment to the nonprofit sector
