Child Health Partnership is seeking two (2) full-time Registered Nurses who are interested in in-home community health and education. One position is 40 hours per week and the other is 32 hours per week. As a Child Health Partnership Community Nurse, you will have the opportunity to build and cultivate empowering relationships with parents and children in their home environment. This position will allow you to work in coordination with a Family Support Specialist to serve low-income families with children ages 0-6 years old, pregnant women and teens, as part of an established in-home visiting program. Child Health Partnership is looking for nurses who can provide health assessments, education, and improved access to care, while working in collaboration with community resource agencies to promote family self-sufficiency.
The ideal candidate will have experience with children and families, community resources and good interpersonal skills. A current state of Virginia RN license and a professional CPR certification are required, BSN is preferred. Home-based or community health experience, and a willingness to work in a team environment desired. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Child Health Partnership has a flexible Monday to Friday schedule, excellent benefits, and starting salary of $27+ per hour, based on experience. Must have a reliable vehicle (mileage reimbursed).
