Description
C3 believes the power to fight climate change resides within our communities. C3 works with businesses, residents, schools, nonprofits, and local governments to catalyze climate action at the community level through evidence-based planning, collaboration, programs, and advocacy which directly reduce climate pollution and elevate climate leadership. C3 recognizes that an equitable transition to a clean economy and a sustainable future means addressing the needs of all members of our communities.
The Community Climate Collaborative (C3), a non-profit organization based in Charlottesville, VA, seeks a driven and enthusiastic full-time Climate Justice Policy Manager. This pivotal role will contribute significantly to our organization, especially as we expand our engagement and action model from a single city to multiple communities. We are looking for a dynamic individual to join us during this crucial phase.
Overview
C3 is seeking a passionate individual dedicated to combating climate change, promoting climate justice, and driving sustainable transportation solutions. Join us as the Climate Justice Policy Manager and contribute to our mission of creating a greener future.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate on policy analysis, design innovative strategies, and advocate for sustainable transportation. Your responsibilities will encompass data collection, meticulous analysis, proficient proofreading, and impactful report writing.
