Clearinghouse Coordinator Position (Part-time) – Love INC, Charlottesville/Albemarle

  Job Summary: This part-time position reports to the Executive Director and serves to oversee the many relationships with local churches and recruit and train volunteers from those churches to help meet the mission and administrative objectives of the organization. While designed to be an in-office position, some allowance for work-from-home hours may be permitted.

Job Duties

Duties/Responsibilities

 Manage all clearinghouse functions and seek to make and maintain connections between area clients (neighbors in need), area churches and individual volunteers

• Oversee maintenance, accuracy and confidentiality of all organizational and church contact data and individual client records
• Create monthly, quarterly and annual reports
• Assist with Intake phone calls from churches and clients when necessary
• Recruit, train and work alongside staff and volunteers who manage “Gap” Ministries throughout the community.
• Work with Love INC Transformation Coordinator to identify individuals who may benefit from personal Transformation outreach classes offered throughout the year
• Assist Communications Coordinator in providing content for newsletters and social media efforts
• Nurture and grow relationships with appropriate community agencies

Skills Required

Requirements/Skills & Abilities

 Must be a Christ follower and support the vision and mission of Love In the Name of Christ

 Excellent interpersonal and verbal communications skills

• Willingness to pray with/for neighbors in need
• Data base management experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to prioritize task and to delegate to volunteers as needed
• Written communication skills a plus

Work Schedule

Flexible 3, 8 hour days. We can work out adjusting hours to fit your schedule

Education and Experience

 High school diploma or equivalent

• Post-high school education a plus
• At least two years related work experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
