Join Our Mission: The Jefferson Area Board for Aging (JABA) seeks a visionary Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead our organization into a future where every member of our community can age with dignity, health, and independence. Our new CEO will champion innovation, inclusivity, and advocacy, enhancing our services and expanding our impact to the aging. As CEO, you will direct strategic growth and maintain the operational excellence that JABA is known for. This role requires a leader who is both a strategic thinker and an empathetic advocate for the aging community.

Skills Required

Key Responsibilities:
• Strategic Leadership and Advocacy: Drive our advocacy efforts to influence policy and community support at all governmental levels. Lead strategic planning and program evaluation to guide JABA’s future direction.
• Organizational Development and Financial Management: Oversee financial strategies and resource management, ensuring the sustainability and growth of our programs.
• Innovation, Inclusivity, and Respect for Culture: Innovate within the framework of our mission while fostering an inclusive culture that embraces and celebrates diversity.
• Community Outreach and Relationship Building: Strengthen and expand our community relationships, enhancing our outreach and engagement efforts.
• Team Management and Engagement: Manage and nurture our dedicated staff, maintaining high job satisfaction and fostering professional growth.
• Adaptability and Curiosity: Adapt to community needs with agility and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications:
• A minimum of 10 years of leadership experience, preferably in non-profit or healthcare sectors.
• Proven track record of successful team and financial management.
• Strong advocacy, strategic planning, and community engagement skills.
• Deep commitment to JABA’s values of inclusivity, compassion, and respect.
• Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree in Business Administration, Gerontology, Public Health, Social Work, or a related field preferred.

Work Schedule

Local travel required, state-wide travel on occasion.
