Description
Community Bike seeks a shop manager for a part time position of flexible hours not to exceed 20 hours a week with possibility of expanding hours in the future. The shop manager wears many hats and must be flexible and thrive in a non-traditional work environment.
Shop manager role includes:
– Inventorying, triaging and repairing donated bicycles
– Maintaining organization of shop and tools
– Tracking inventory and placing parts orders
– Keeping counts of patrons and volunteers
– Recruiting, training, and managing volunteers
– Communicating with public through phone, email and social media
– Attending regular board meetings and maintain communication with board
